Britax Companion
The Britax Companion is a rear facing infant car seat meant for babies that weigh between 4 and 22 lbs. as well as are 30” or less in length. The Companion weighs 16 lbs, between the carrier and the base. This combination is ideal for easy and quick installation as the base stays securely in the car while the child can stay strapped into the carrier for short trips.
This infant seat has premium safety features such as the trademarked True Side Impact Protection with advanced head support and an anti-rebound bar to reduce seat and child movement in the event of a crash. The Companion also has a five point , two latch harness to ensure easy and secure buckling without the annoying tangles, as well as a pillow surround for ideal head support. Some accessories are available for the Companion such as replacement pads, chest clips, cover sets and even a foam insert made specifically for babies with a low birth rate of less than 7 lbs. This car seat is also compatible with the Britax stroller models Vigour and Preview.
The colors available are all paired with black and include traditional colors such as tan and gray, but also in brighter colors aqua and plum.
